We have been looking at colocation facilities here in New York for the current project I am working on. I have requested quotes and information from various hosting providers. Normally, when I give a company my email address I give it as company_domain at bitterpill dot org. So for yourco.com I'd use the email address yourco at bitterpill dot org. This way if people spam me, or sell my address, I know who did it, and I can filter out that specific address. Anyway, I get an email this morning:

Subject: Colocated Servers Pricing Calculator 
From: someone@acompany.net 
Date: Thu, May 8, 2003 9:44 am  
To: acompany at bitterpill dot org  

...Can we answer any questions you might have about this service or the
company?

Witty site, by the way :)...

This smart salesperson gleamed my address from my email and went to bitterpill.org. Then I realize that the last three posts I have made involve phonesex, Hustler, small penis, vibrators, and combing in people's hair...

Maybe I should start using a different address for business related issues, or at least stop referencing my small penis.
